 Project Role

I was the instructional designer, graphic artist/programmer, voice talent, audio engineer, and quality assurance supervisor for each of these video projects created in Articulate Storyline.

Here is a Vyond video created to train District Managers on recruitment.

Whiteboard Animation

Whiteboards tell a story and this segment of a whiteboard video I created in Vyond was used to train our leadership team in interviewing skills.

I love infographics, and I used data from a Gallup Poll to create this animated infographic about employee engagement.

This project was initiated by me to demonstrate to our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) the effectiveness of using storytelling in web-based training. I based this on research I did reading Rance Greene's book, Instructional Story Design

The SMEs liked the concept, and I was able to utilize this method in a project for the Federal Aviation Administration. The project was done in Articulate Storyline utilizing their text-to-speech plug-in.

Software Simulation|Articulate

Our organization acquired a new hiring software system, and I was tasked to develop a software simulation to train managers on the new system.

 Project Role

As the lead instructional designer for this project, I was tasked with managing the development of instructor-led training for nine in-person workshops for Operations Managers across the FAA.  It was a challenging project since the Program Manager changed and the lead tech writer left mid-project. We curated content from the FAA SMEs and developed a 3.5-day training encompassing two main topics: communication and performance management. We delivered the content on time, and 77% of the participants surveyed said that they were able to increase their leadership and management skills after completing this workshop.

This is a sample of the Facilitator Guide we created for the Operations Manager Leadership Development Program for Air Traffic. These are snapshots of the Workshop Modules, the tools and the materials we delivered.
